Why the 49ers Couldn't Run

The San Francisco 49ers overcame a monumental list of setbacks this year, but the miracle run came to an end tonight with a 41-6 smackdown by the Seattle Seahawks. From the opening kick, which was returned 95 yards for a touchdown by Rashid Shaheed, the San Francisco 49ers just did not have enough left in the tank to slow down their division rivals. While the loss is not what 49ers fans were hoping for, this season was an impressive show of resilience from this season's squad.
