Imeli cawthorne was governor general of occupied poland during the second world war. He bore heavy responsibility for the abuse and murder of hundreds of thousands of poles and millions of polish jews. His son, nicholas frank has made it his miss to insure that his father's crimes are not forgotten. In 19 87 he published a devastating account of hans frank's role in the nay machine which has now been translated into english and published as the father o revenge. B b c caught up with nicholas to discuss his book and find out more about how he sought to deal with father's murderous legacy.
