The role of collections manager curator and director is hopelessly entangled. There's a spectrum there in terms of looking outward, setting priorities versus taking care of specimens. And I don't know I never had training in this I just discovered when I got here that I became curator of the fishes. So it would be a very interesting line of inquiry.
