It's now more than seven hours since England scored a goal from open play, which was back in November, 2020. I think people do overrate this England team with regards to talent, but that's no argument again to what happened at the San Siro. The only thing one could say is ahead of World Cup 2018, people, the expectations were genuinely low for England,. And it might be the only time ever that we witnessed the expectations being genuinely low because it wasn't inspiring going into that tournament.
