I think that you're looking at the industry from a very narrow point of view in the sense that right now there may be people in the West who see this as a new asset class. At the same time, there are communities and places from El Salvador to Guatemala to Nigeria that are using it in real time as their currency. It's incumbent upon the individual and the retail investor to be very careful in why we advocate for things like self-custody because unless you can verify that Bitcoin on the blockchain, you don't know if a company is maybe doing some nefarious activities behind the scenes with shell companies or commingling funds.
