The History of Artificial Intelligence

The origins of a i can kind of be tied to the computer. The first mechanical computer was designed by charles babbage in 18 22. But machines that think sort of evolved in the fifties. And credit for the term artificial intelligence is given to marvin minski and john mc carthy at dartmouth college. They were trying to come up with ideas how machines could behave in ways like animals and humans do.
