Is the Year of Low Interest Rates Over?
Interest rates in the ECB are you where zero effectively. Is that year over for good? I think it is, but as Joe said, it's very hard to see it. Central banks haven't been caught on the wrong side of the argument earlier in the year and could conceivably be caught on thewrong side of us later in the year too. The Fed is already well ahead of the rest with some senior Fed figures making more nuanced noises than they have been doing earlier this year. So we want to see another chunky increase at the end of this month or December. But I'd be very surprised if it wasn't a point at which there was no plan to do something by then
