CFTC - I Love the SEC, Gensler Said

Gensler began his career in government service at Treasury in the late 1990s after nearly two decades at Goldman Sachs. There have been slight rumblings which have made their way into the financial press that Gensler might be interested in leading the department if Biden is reelected. He articulated a straightforward view of the agency's reach that pretty much every sort of crypto transaction already falls under the SEC's jurisdiction expect except spot transactions in Bitcoin itself and the actual purchase or sale of goods or services with crypto currencies.
