Thousands of cars brought to a standstill by that massive storm ing a foot of snow on the d c region. The affected highway a 50 mile stretch of i 95 from caroline, virginia to dumfries with few off ramps. Drivers had no escape. Weave will kivs. And we're doing the best we can. But of course, thes athe people who need assistance more than we do, among the thousands trapped for 20 hours or longer.
