Ruth, the daughter in law of a man called boaz, worked with his maidens. She kept close to them until they had finished all their harvests. Ruth's husband and brother-in-law also died before she could marry him. The story shows her faithfulness even when things were difficult or dark. This is maybe the first day of blessing in ruth’s life according to John MacArthur.
