The trailers back then were often very long. So people would actually wait throughout the whole, they'd watch the credits and then sit there in anticipation of seeing little films about upcoming films. I think of it kind of as a separate career from say like feature editing and documentary editing. And it's Often very music driven. There's an abbreviated language of storytelling unlike a feature editing where you're really playing out scenes.
