i really enjoy your discussion of how the constitution was written. And it's always sort of fun to hear the more critical version of that story. As i read your description of madison and the fast one right that he pulled over the country, it does strike me that there's a certain scepticism you have towards that elete control. But then when it gets to jefferson and jacksonto gers, my sense is that you're more critical of them. I do think it's important to look at the framers the constitution as political actors who were motivated by their own self interest and their political ogendas. However, i do see madison as a more complicated figure
