The Role of Reminding God in the Songs

The songs are sort of all based around what god has already done or has promised to do but specifically what he's already done and so there's this this loud worship unto god. The Passover and the crossing of the Red Sea like are all over the bible not just when they happen but they're brought up again and again in the Psalms. All these mighty deeds of the lord are foreshadowing the great deed of god which is the crucifixion of christ.
