UX is one of the most evil words that you can use to describe what somebody else is doing, especially for a living. It's such a diminutive. You've taken your entire life's work. People are not necessarily comfortable with the lack of true objectivity in the world. We want to believe there is one right way, one wrong way, one word that is correct for whatever we're talking about.
