How Did I Become a Philosopher?

I was getting frustrated with reading philosophers who didn't seem to know anything about what science was from my own understanding of science. So Howard Stein said, read the scientists. And it was an eye-opening suggestion as a physics student. I continued, by the way, through master's level work in general relativity. Now I will call myself a philosopher, historian of science and cognitive scientist.
