Bob Greene: I want to start with how you got into the business of legal reporting in the first place. Unlike me, you're actually a real lawyer. You haven't practiced in a long time. Tell us the story of how you went from a guy who went to law school intending to use it for journalism? Either to teach or for journalism. He didn't expect to practice. Of course, in law school, litigation gets a very good press. That seems like the real thing. It's just one pissing match after another.
