Joe and Deng Ying-chao had the rough it. So he didn't want to set any precedent by fixing up his crib or getting it all nice and comfortable. One day while he was away on one of his many trips, his assistants and secretaries moved in and started carrying out repairs. When Joe came back and saw this, he was quite livid. He angrily told his staff to take everything away, back out all the repairs, and make everything just the way it was before his business trip.
