The Future of Fast Payments

There are many projects underway in the world that are working on aspects of this same challenge here in the United States. So definitely it will require action and collaboration from both public sector entities such as you know central banks, governments as well as payment service providers essentially the market. I think CBDC and fast payments do have a lot of commonalities that the main difference of course being that CBDC is a central bank liability. There are only a few implementations of retail CBDC out there so we don't have many data points to judge its success.
