In your book on on human dignity, you're railing against cant quite a bit. So what struck me as curious was that Cant's view of reason is not very dissimilar to yours. It may be that at the root of this, a distaste for cant is my acknowledgment that he doesn't deal sufficiently with the relationality which is at theRoot of all my convictions about what human beings are and therefore how they act.
