The Dangers of Agent Orange

During the Vietnam War, US military used herbicides to destroy crops and deprive enemy armies of food. Agent Orange contains a compound called dioxin that is known to cause cancer. Military didn't take proper safety measures because they were told it was harmless. It wasn't until years later that illnesses began to show up. The VA has linked Agent Orange to 14 diseases, including leukemia, lymphoma, heart disease, and various forms of cancer.
