Michael Atcovell: We're trying to find genes that turn on and stop a gene from fusing hands together. He says we can get a chicken with three-fingered hand, like the Archaeopteryx. The same goes for the tails; Birds have basically rudimentary tails. So what we're trying to do really is take our chicken, modify it, and make it chicken as for us. But it's just the very basics.
