The Crypto Libertarians and the SEC
The original folks who were in the Bitcoin community back in 2009 and 2010, their whole thing was anarchy. Registering these as securities kills that and turns this into a CFI world which is the antithesis. Gemini's marketing campaign was the revolution needs rules, which is a contradiction in terms. The crypto libertarians do not, they would rather it go to zero than be regulated like it's a stock market. Their day is over, their time has passed, they lost, and need to get the hell out of the way.
