When Columbus returns from his first voyage in 1492, there is a circulation of news about this new discovery. So there is a lot more chatter and it moves much, much quicker than you might expect. And the impact is so profound across religion, across cultural expectations... who are these societies that we've no idea? We don't understand any of their beliefs and practices. I wonder if we could turn now to Africa.
