The White House Was Panicked Over OPEC's Decline

OPEC announced today that they're going to reduce their oil production by 2 million barrels a week. That guarantees gas prices are going to be higher heating and cooling prices will be higher. The Biden White House was engaged in what is called a furious last ditch effort begging Saudi Arabia, begging OPEC nations to block the move. And guess what?
