The Importance of Surrealism in Photography

I didn't know that I would end up loving photography like I do now at the time. What I think really helped steer me in that direction was ultimately moving to the Pacific Northwest. My parents were actually both recently out here and I took them on a proper tour of Olympic National Park. They've been to Mount Rainier before. It was the first time they had been to a temperate rainforest seeing starfish, sea and eminies, sea stacks. So I feel like me kind of bringing that giving that back to them because of the way they brought me up is I'm so happy I can do that for them.
