The Different Types of Osteoblastomas
Osteoid osteomas are self-limited, while osteoblastomas are progressive. NSAIDs are the first line treatment and will lead to a dramatic decrease in symptoms. Operative options include percutaneous radiofrequency ablation or surgical resection with cure-otage.
