The Scale of the Opportunity
The scale of the opportunity is enormous and it's very large in most of the developed nations around the world. There are probably three and a half million vacancies, if you might, for data, cloud and software developers that will be required by 2025. The problem doesn't suddenly solve itself because as you'll know, technology is moving at a rapid pace. So interestingly, when we trained our first data engineers back towards the end of 2016, they have something like only 40% in common with what we were teaching them back.
