Los Angeles - The Los Angeles Shootings

Hattie Pong was swing dancing with Jim Goodman inside the star ballroom dance studio Saturday night when gunshots suddenly rang out. Goodman covered her on the ground with his body, shielding her as a second round of gunfire erupted. The suspect took off, but about 12 hours after the shooting, police spotted his white van with stolen license plates. When officers approached the vehicle, they heard a single gunshot. Investigators say the suspect shot himself.
