Was There Any Sense of Discrimination Because You Were a Woman?
When you were an undergraduate, were you already starting to think about a research career? I mean, this is something that you had been fascinated by. So i was very motivated to use, to find a way to use science in the social context for the improvement of standard of living and prevention of war. By the time i graduated, i wasn't really sure what erybody else was doing. And my classmates would kind of be choosing, where do they go to do a phd, but without seeming to have really thought, this is what i want to do. It's more difficult when you feelhat you belong to the subject as aner than it had been as a younger kid
