In the eighties, what we had was this massive demographic boom. All of us boomers were turn ing forty. And 40 to 60 year olds are superproductive and superefficient. But now there's old people in europe and old people in the us. And while they're perfectly nice people, they're not productive. They're not very efficient. So i think this is going to look much more, i think, like the forties after the pression. And i think that's where we're headed. The fed turned a garden variety recession into the great depression by trying to raise rates from zero. It's just dumb. That's just a war on small business
