Is There a Crisis in Infrastructure?
When I look at the people who benefited from these cost cuts, I don't see the financial suffering that the community members have to go through. So much of this harkens back to the Deepwater Horizon spill. We have these big companies that are not only controlling the infrastructure, but also controlling the aftermath to their messes. Clearly market consequences are not policing these companies because even after that BP gusher put oil in the off a Mexico for months, BP still exists.
