Bringing Immunology Applications to Biology Students
I really try and bring those newsworthy items into class and use them as application or case models. I acknowledge that the students have to know some of that basic core information to understand this application. We have more tools to fight cancers we couldn't fight, you know, five, 10 years ago. And now we're getting the next generation of drugs. That's really exciting for students and motivates them in some ways to also circle back and start with a CD4 positive helper T-cell involved in regulating antibody production.
