The Fed's Plan to Bring Down Inflation
Bloomberg opinion piece says the Fed shouldn't settle for above-target inflation. But when we look at the June CPI number of core prices, we're up only 0.16 month over a month,. which is equivalent to slightly less than 2% on an annualized basis. And I'd be the first to caution against trying to extrapolate too much from a one-month move, but it's an indication that they can actually achieve their goal.
