The Antarctic Treaty
Antarctic is the earth's only continent that does not have a native human population. Its land mass has not been exploited for commercial game. Apart from its 70 permanent research bases with their small numbers of seasonaly rotating stuff, antarctic remains devoid of humans. So where does the antarctic treaty come into this, and why was it created? Signed on the first of december 19 59, the antarctica treaty came into force on the 20 third of june 19 60.
