The Importance of Decarbonisation
We're very lucky that we spent 10 years grinding out, working in decarbonisation when it wasn't that popular. Like our core industrial business, the software, the services is achieving incredible scale. And then so even though the mining truck opportunity is very attractive, it's nothing compared to the opportunity and the core business. By 2030 decarbonisation will be a $4 trillion a year business. It's currently at $1 trillion a year. So the scale of the opportunity is breathtaking. But Ireland isn't capitalising on this at all compared to the US as the inflation reduction act, which is 700 billion of investment,. Europe is pathetic in terms of its investment in decarbonisations.
