The Reaction to Nixon's Resignation

In 1974, there were hardcore supporters of Nixon who insisted he had done nothing wrong. A lot of diehards said they were more supportive of Nixon after Watergate. And we've got to remember even through his resignation, a full quarter of the country was still in his corner. He had a full 25% about in most polls to support him.
