Ali Bongo: The Son of Omar Bongo and DIMBA
Omar Bongo on DIMBA was president for 41 years. He died and then his son Ali Bongo took over in 2009. Earlier this week he told a crowd of supporters that he wants to stand for a third term. In 2016 he narrowly won an election which his opposition rival Jean Ping claimed was rigged. But as Richard Gaguey heard from the political analyst Mais Musi the Bongo family runs everything so his victory is almost guaranteed.
