Environmental History of the Twenty-First Century - The Great Acceleration

Before i wrote this book, i wrote a general environmental history of the twentieth century. The main contention in that book is that the scale, scope and pace of environmental change in the twentieth century as great than ever before. And that within the twentieth century, the scale, Scope and Pace of Environmental Change ramped up substantially in the middle of the century. So that right there, which is not necessarily an idea original with me, is the concept of the great acceleration,. without the term the great acceleration.
