The Power and Weight of Words

The late poet, author, icon and activist Dr. Maya Angelou speaks about her creative process, the power of words and how she overcame a traumatic childhood. Dr. Angelou says that in order to be the best human being you can be, you must follow one simple directive: "Just do right." She also discusses what it felt like to stand side-by-side with leaders of the civil rights movement.
