The Impact of TLS and Encryption on the Internet
About 90% of web traffic these days is encrypted, which is a far cry from where it was even five to seven years ago. Exposiers and misconfigurations are still a huge problem, Internet wide. Over 8,000 servers hosting open directories contained really anything you can think of that would be something you don't want on the public Internet.
