The Differences Between Abductees and the General Population
Some people just assume, well, anybody with an alien abduction story, they must be crazy, right? That's got to be what's going on. Study by Clancy and McNally showed that the mental health of abductees doesn't differ dramatically from the general population. There does seem to be a relationship between abductees and dissociation, absorption, and magical ideation. Some observers have equated the recent decline in UFO sightings with the rise of the internet.
