The Importance of Eulogy Virtues
David Brooks: The things that you think are important probably aren't. He draws a distinction between what he calls resume virtues and eulogy virtues. Being able to say, I do what I can to hold it all together, but sometimes things go wrong, is probably not going to impress anyone in a job interview. But it makes a half-decent eulogy.
