Inflation hasn't been that bad since 1982. So a pound then is worth about £3.30 or £40 nowadays. In 2003, we have Roman Abramovich coming in and he spends about £140 million on the club. And 20 years later or so, 19, in fact, we go from Russia with love to the USA and the Boli-Clique consortium who've outlaid,. what is it? £4.25 billion.
