Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's Halting News Conference

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has occasionally required the use of a wheelchair and suffered from at least two falls earlier this year that weren't previously disclosed. North Carolina's Ted Bud was with him as part of the US delegation. In March of this year McConnell also fell at a Washington event suffering a concussion and a broken rib that required about six weeks of rehab. California Senator Dianne Feinstein returned to the Senate this spring after nearly three month absence due to shingles.
