Binance's Lawsuit Against the SEC and CFTC
The SEC has filed 13 charges against Binance in a massive lawsuit. They say that over a three-year period from 19 through 21, the trading firm in the British Virgin Islands received more than $12 billion in client assets. In the first 24 hours of the announcement of the lawsuit, $800 million left B finance. And then one day after the SEC filed its lawsuit against Binance, the SEC filed their lawsuit against Coinbase. Both companies are accused of these three misdeeds: Unregistered securities broker, unregistered securities exchange and unregistered securities.
