The fact that it's one contract that's precise is why it works. If you have an item that doesn't lend itself to uniformity, uniformity is very critical for a successful futures market. I remember way back in the 70s, they tried and I think it was in California, probably only California can come up with this. They tried doing a diamond futures. It basically killed the market.
