How to Install a New Dishwasher Without a Drain Plug
The door of the dishwasher was just a hair too tall to fit under our kitchen counter. When we had porcelain tile installed throughout our house, the installer also put it under the dishwasher. The new garbage disposals have a molded plastic piece that you need to hammer out before a dishwasher can drain through it. Was it worth ten hours of my time to save $159? In retrospect, probably not but I did enjoy learning the skill.
