The Artemis of the Ephesians
The town clerk, who of course is a worshiper of Artemis, tries to claim and builds on the claim that our statue or maybe the stone or whatever, from what it was made fell from heaven. So it must be divine. This is what they believe. And so Demetrius and everybody else back here is has every right to be incensed by it because the implications are so, you know, sort of obvious.
