How Do We Know What Was Going on in Ancient Egypt?

We don't have eye witness accounts of what was happening at the time that we can nacturally totally believe. There's no papyrus from tuton carman's tomb iterating what happened during his reign. For ample are from later in ancient history, where you have analysts or historians using records. Now that sort of thing simply doesn't exist in egypt. What we also have is unbalanced record. So earlier in the eighteenth dynasty, for example, we have a man called ame's son of bana. And this is a very senior soldier under the first three or so pharaohs of the eighteenth dynasty. In his tomb there is a record of his military exploits.
