In the early days, the CIA has prepared a presidential daily brief. The presidents have varied in the degree of attention that they're willing to pay to complex intelligence matters. A lot of presidents have been short on patience because they've got other issues to discuss and presidents worry mostly about domestic affairs. Well, I think that gives us a really interesting grounding then on the CIA and its formation as much as we can cover in 20 minutes.
